On December 11, 2025, Dr. Rani Yousefzai, CEO of Empower Consulting LLC, Skokie, Illinois, was honored with the prestigious Voice of Courage Award 2025 during the Community Achievers 2025 ceremony hosted by GSA Global Eye Magazine USA at the Rayburn Building, U.S. Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C.

The award recognizes Dr. Yousefzai’s transformational leadership and her powerful impact through insight-driven writing, particularly her book “Embracing The Self Sufficient Mindset.” Her work has inspired professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to embrace resilience, strategic thinking, and self-empowerment.

The event gathered distinguished honorees from across the United States and internationally, celebrating excellence in advocacy, leadership, innovation, healthcare access, architecture, public service, and community empowerment. The ceremony was held in the esteemed presence of U.S. Congressional leaders, further highlighting the significance of the recognition.

During the ceremony, U.S. Congressman Jonathan Jackson (1st CD-IL) presented a U.S. Congressional Proclamation and Congressional Medallion to each honoree, underscoring the national importance of their contributions.

Dr. Rani Yousefzai is a distinguished entrepreneur, healthcare executive, philanthropist, and community advocate whose life’s work reflects extraordinary resilience, compassion, and service. Through the Empowerment Nation Foundation, which she founded in 2017, Dr. Yousefzai has helped hundreds of individuals through food drives, housing assistance, fundraisers, educational programs, and domestic violence support initiatives. Her work provides not only immediate relief but also long-term guidance, safety, and pathways to independence for vulnerable populations.

In November 2023, Dr. Yousefzai launched another transformative initiative—founding J&R Hair Academy, a cosmetology school dedicated to empowering individuals with trade skills and sustainable career opportunities. She personally invested over $150,000 to bring this vision to life. By March 2024, the Village of Skokie, Illinois, recognized her efforts with the Beautification Award. The academy is designed to train 100 students annually and includes a structured workplace program to ensure graduates secure meaningful employment.

In healthcare, Dr. Yousefzai serves as President of Vision Home Health Care (2023–Present), where she leads strategic planning and healthcare service execution with a strong focus on equitable access to quality care for marginalized populations. She is also the Owner of Belleza Med Spa & Clinic (2017–Present), overseeing advanced aesthetic procedures and clinic operations with a commitment to ethical and patient-centered care. Her mission remains steadfast: to empower individuals with tools, confidence, and support to overcome barriers, achieve success, and create lasting opportunities for brighter futures.
